Nepalese living abroad trying to join the relief effort for earthquake victims in Nepal, which includes doctors, volunteers and equipment pouring into Nepal following the reopening of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The organization has provided hygiene kits, blankets, tarpaulins and bed nets, as well as water purification tablets which have been distributed in partnership with the Governments Ministry of Health and the Red Cross. The death toll from Saturdays 7.9 magnitude earthquake had climbed to more than 4700, and reports trickling in from remote areas suggested it would rise significantly. The situation report says that 35 of the 75 districts in Nepal are reported to be affected by the earthquake, with the most affected districts being Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Kavre, Nuwakot, Dolakha, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Ramechhap.
