A study has shown the drinks like energy drinks that give energy for time being is actually harmful for the health. According to the study done yield the result that a medium sized coffee has 150 mg of caffeine on it whereas it was found that energy drinks contain caffeine upto 500 mg. Although it is hard to say which one is more beneficial for the health but then the amount of caffeine present in the energy drinks are initiate your body to be weak. So according to the health specialist there is vicious discussion required about it and its effect on the health of the people.
After the researches and studies showed that there are many harmful component present in the energy drinks on human health, India’s Food Safety and Standard Authority of India has already b@nned the production and distribution of energy drinks throughout the country.
India took this decision after the study reviled that energy drinks contain more amount of caffeine on it. The studies has mentioned that the habit of regularly taking those drink can make people addicted on it. The report has said that like the alcohols and smoking product s the component n the energy drinks make people addicted when regularly taken. According to the consultant psychiatrist Dr Manish Gupta, especially the youngsters take these types of drink in their exam times or when they are with their friend. And slowly they get addicted to it. Gupta also informed that many patient who drink energy drinks comes to him with the complain of not having enough sleep, feeling irritate in front of the strong light and other problem$.
According to Dr Nikhil Raheja who is working with National Institute of Psychiatrist, some of the production company of these type of drinks do even mention right composition of it, When the production company were asked about this issue they always try to avoid it as much as possible. Instead of that they bring on more better advertisement in front of the people.But theses type of drinks can bring psychiatric problem on people, according to the many specialist.
